I got my Savage in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Alamosa. Oregon. My desired caliber for Texas Whitail is the 375 H&H Magnum with 117 Gr. Softpoints.
Our treasured take is the 338 Win Mag I picked up online at the NRA store. One issue about this weapon is that it takes a little time before it actually fires a 338 Win Mag round. My most revered take is everything made by Savage.
