seeking English pastor for Houston church

2 requests I get most often from my (fledging) network of Asian American ministry leaders is (1) a speaker for their upcoming event and (2) pastors and churches looking for a connection. It’s a little bit outside of my sweet spot in my role for but we try to do what we can.
My old friend David Hsu from days has been pastoring in Houston for over a decade now and has the distinction of being dubbed a senior pastor of an multi-generational Chinese church while he was under age 40(!) (if I’m not mistaken). I’ve seen Pastor David in action on several occasions he’s not only fluent in Mandarin and English he’s also well-versed in both Chinese and American cultures.
So we got to talking on our occasional check-in and here’s the wild idea. Rather than only using conventional means of posting a job listing for a ministry opportunity he thought it’d be good to post the here at — after all the kind of a pastor they’d want would be a regular reader here right?
Here’s the quick summary of :

WHCC is seeking a full-time pastor/minister for our English-speaking adult congregation is a vibrant inclusive community of God-inspired change that consists of English-speaking adults of all ages currently has an average worship attendance of 150 adults with 14 small groups meeting throughout the city of Houston.
involves Leadership. Teaching & Preaching. Small Group Ministry. Family Ministry & Pastoral Counseling and Missions & Evangelism. This is an English Pastor position within a multi-generational Chinese church context and you’d get the added bonus of working with a culturally-astute senior pastor. (I’m almost tempted to throw my name in the hat for this outside chance of working along side of David Hsu but I just this summer. .)

Hey DJ,There's a site called Korean American Ministry Resources( ) that lists churches and job openings for pastors. It would be neat if something like the Asian-American church plants website had a classified section for churches to post any openings they had.
