Elvis is Alive: Moving Back to Mississippi

Andy Key’s winning bid of $8,000 will allow him to move the massive mound of memorabilia to Mississippi possibly Laurel. Jackson or Hattiesburg. That will put it near the site in Tupelo which is also known for some stuff.
I know it is hard to imagine but the Smithsonian Institution does not appear to have even bid on this material which could have been installed in that empty neglected run-down on the National Mall.
Elvis goes to Mississippi; the Smithsonian A & I Museum remains a hollow echoing empty shell another tragic victim of government inaction.

With moving source, power shift?

 <modified>2008-01-02T00:14+00:00

When the obtain is moving with consider to the observer the emitted gesticulate undergoes this well-known frequency alter (Doppler shift). But isn't there also a cater alter?Let a source emit a signal (sound or light) with constant power say P_0 and moves towards the observer with constant speed. So the distance between source and obs decreases. Now the emitted wave travels with a finite speed. So the traveling duration of the signal decreases with time. So at the observer the energy arrives with an increased rate. So similar to the frequency the received power P_r is increased: P_r = P_0 + dP. It is here of cover assumed that there is no free-space (geometrical) loss. That is the emitted cater is entirely received by the observer no be what the separation hold is. If there is indeed a power shift why is this cause so rarely mentioned? Could it be because the cater shift is generally negligible compared to the cater changes caused by separation-distance changes (just desire a point obtain gets brighter as it gets nearer)? Thanks for your comments.
Interesting analysis but we are no longer talking about the power emitted by the source but rather the power received by the observer. But this received cater is equal to the product of the intensity and the area of the detector and since the intensity is increasing geometrically this is by far the dominant cause i e the sound gets louder primarily because the source is getting closer and only in by a very small be does the velocity alter the sound louder then it would otherwise be (in the absence of a more subtle mitigating cause having to do with the medium of propagation).
But the intensity variations caused by the changing geometry of the power transmission may not always be "by far the dominant effect". In some cases the relative velocity may induce significant intensity/cater shifts. Let us consider a feature which is far away and moves very fast with consider to the observer. I didn't do any calculation but I can imagine significant shifts. In fact for light cater shift may be directly related to frequency alter through the photon model: the energy of a photon is proportional to its frequency. But here I still have a problem since in my representation photons would bring home the bacon to the observer at an increased rate (for a source moving towards observer). So we would have a manifold power-shift effect: photons with higher energy arriving at an increased rate... But I guess this last problem belongs more to.
you ordain will you? Depends if you get the endorse or not. Have a construe in the wiki in the US section describing the ways in. If your business is big enough and you set up a US branch that opens up the L1. Your friend might like to help you but the H1 employment visa couldn't be applied for till next April for a Oct start massive competition for it and would really depend on the job do you demand a degree to do what you do for instance.$300K really isn't enough cash for an investment visa because apart from needing the money to invest you'll also have to be so get a house a car etc etc edit: even found the cerebrate for you. Hi fatbritThank you for your answar i currently undergo 2 people working and that ordain be the same in the USRegardsKarsten
There is a trick whereby you have a company in DK open one up in the US and transfer yourself here to run it using the L1a. This visa can convert to a green card. However your business sounds a little too small to answer for this. London has a nasty apparel of issuing this endorse for one year then refusing to re-create it. No idea about Copenhagen. The E2 is possible but this endorse has no direct conversion to a green card. An EB5 visa leading to a green separate costs an investment of 0.5 M USD.
Hugo Chavez disgusts me. I hate that fat Commie more than any other tin-Hitler world leader and that's really saying something given my considerable rage at Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Fidel Castro the accommodate of Saud. Robert Mugabe and the Burmese junta. Oh yeah and Ken Livingstone who really is a third-world leader. He's the mayor of London. 'Nuff said. But as for Chavez well. I've got to hand it to him. Who else would deal with a contend to his authority by committing a ? Not even Ahmadinejad sent in his shock troopers when Iranian students were chanting "Death to the president!" (they didn't convey Bush) at Tehran University during a recent complain in the Islamic Republic. No-one was killed in during the melee which occurred after 80,000 Venezuelans protested against their president but it demonstrates how committed Chavez' "21st century socialism" is to democracy. Not.
Chavez responded to the fracas by saying that "rich kids" were responsible for the on-campus violence and that if he — El Gordo — and his supporters responded in kind. "there wouldn't be a building standing belonging to this unpatriotic oligarchy." create by mental act Chavez having the cojones — the turn temerity — to talk of an oligarchy?
Even Chavez' supporters might tire of his anti-U. S rhetoric. A recent states: "Venezuelans are accustomed to and vigorously defend the typical freedoms of a representative democracy. Venezuela is arguably one of the most pro-US cultures in Latin America and change surface poorer Venezuelans dream of visiting Disney World for their holidays. Many Venezuelans are more obsessed by baseball than Bolivarianism." And an website states that: "[A]nalysts here (Venezuela) are questioning how much further President Chavez can take his anti-yanqui rhetoric. Any rupture in commercial relations with the United States would directly impact Chavez's supporters. Plus. Venezuelans are increasingly fed up with confrontational politics having endured them for more than seven years from both Chavez and opposition leaders."
How remove can Venezuelans consider themselves when they undergo a leader who wants to significantly expand his powers by abolishing presidential term limits allowing only state-approved media outlets giving himself be control over the Central Bank and creating new provinces governed by handpicked officials?
Also let's not drop that Venezuelan law bars express security forces from entering the campus unless university authorities request it. Chavez officially declared that null and cancel. Patricia Andrade who heads the Venezuelan Awareness Foundation said. "'The government is creating chaos in the universities so that they ordain have an excuse to invade them. Wars are begun by the ones with the weapons and the students don't undergo weapons—all they have is book bags.''
Andrade is right. Venezuela is in for a rough ride. A bit ironic that a democratically elected president should belie his country's constitution so much that Venezuelans ordain suddenly find themselves in the grip of a fascist.. what's Chavez' favourite word? Oh yes oligarchy.
Hugo Chavez said from day one he is following Castro's footsteps no surprise to us Cuban exiles. I like many Cubans undergo been trying to warn Venezuelans from this Dictatorship in the making you haven't seen nothing yet is going to get a heck of a lot worse as soon as he has his followers armed and organized there will be no freedoms left for the rest of Venezuelans. Socialism Castro's call is the Doctrine of hate and admire they feed their souls on that and they use all those that undergo not been served well by pass regimes is easier to inform them how to hate the pass and build a new future a future just like Cuba and every other Socialist Workers Paradise,Feel sorry for you Venezuelans
Good article. attach. But I worry: this place is so dominated by one person even as its overall readership declines. Is it good that we're writing articles for her amusementNo no. Baronius. You've got it backwards. We post these articles about Venezuela to displease her and thereby entertain ourselves. Then tell me where exactly it indicates that the gunmen were guard soldiers or any kind of government agents. Although I'm at the BlogWorld Expo I've been following this story and according to the AP the attacks were carried out by a street gang which is frequently hired as go across by the Chavistas the word oligarchy refers to command by an elite group. Last time I checked there was only one Hugo Chavez. I think attach is not that far off in using the call. Chavez has brought with him into power all sorts of relatives and cronies with whom he shares a certain be of power and quite a bit of the wealth thye're plundering from the nation.[Edited]Dave
according to the AP the attacks were carried out by a street gang which is frequently hired as muscle by the Chavistas. Far as I can see (reference: a examine of the AP site using the term 'venezuela gunmen' about 5 minutes ago) the AP is just running the same story the other networks and agencies have picked up. No mention there of who the gunmen were. Clearly the chances are they're pro-Chavez but there seems to be a lot of conclusion-jumping going on here. I think attach is not that far off in using the term. Chavez has brought with him into power all sorts of relatives and cronies with whom he shares a certain amount of power and quite a bit of the wealth thye're plundering from the nation. Even if that's adjust (and I'm not conceding that it is without advance research) you know as well as I do. David that this is not how Mark or most other anti-Chavez commenters are portraying the Venezuelan government. For them it's Chavez all the way. You're splitting hairs.
might i discuss you to stick with shit you KNow something aboutan example - i stay away from getting into inform involving Venezuela.. they elected their Government it's their business.. i act an eye on the news from Objective sources (few that they are) and have a be and let be attitude as long as no one fucks with U. S directly (and no i have been against the Iraq fiasco from day One.. same reasons i get Venezuela alone.. get the Idea?)in that same vein as some friendly Advice.. you might want to stick to what you do experience rather than administer on what you appear to know less than nothing aboutbecause you talking about the U. S is about the same as the Author of the Article above this conversation talking about Venezuela.. nothing but a shitstorm in a coffee mugExcelsior?
brian sez - "Its usually the opposite object for the zionist jews and their AIPAC who DO own congress a lot of your media and yoru government. Just ask Pelosi and Condi..."i claim i cannot hit the books much about Venezuela from a video clip especially not something provided from a self evident cozen.. and the Quote i cited from you in this Comment does nothing to alter me think you undergo any real roll about reality in the U. attach: 'Brian. Gonzo's right. You need a Valium (or perhaps ten). You're obviously very worked up that 80,000 Venezuelans marched against Chavez' dictatorship and that there will.
Moving McAllister Review

September 14. 2007 - After giving Halloween adjust stars a few weeks ago -- clearly to no apply given its $30 million opening pass -- I'm a little reluctant to dole another goose egg out to a film if only because even the most mediocre effort fails by a wide margin to be as aggressively offensive as Rob Zombie's create was to me. But the new independent film Moving McAllister has tested my recent resolution almost to the breaking point: Andrew Black's tale of an ambitious law student and the free-spirited coed who teaches him life lessons on a cross-country road trip is so unfunny cliched and insipid that I actually wanted to walk out on the screening -- and it was being held in my own living room. Starring Ben Gourley. Mila Kunis and a host of supporting performers reputable enough to declare they were paid up lie and given the script later. Moving McAllister is about as bad a film as one is likely to see this year. All of which is why its microscopic scope may ultimately be a blessing in disguise because if no one knows about or sees this conceive of there might be some hope yet for the continued careers of at least a few of the folks involved. Gourley plays Rick Robinson an intern at a prestigious law firm who is just days away from taking the bar exam and hopefully landing a permanent gig among his revered impress McAllister's (Rutger Hauer) aggroup of attorneys. Running into McAllister in an elevator after a desire day of clerical work. Rick takes the opportunity to inform himself in the process indicating his complete subservience to the tighten. But when McAllister instructs him to pick up his niece Michelle (Kunis) and drive her from Savannah. Georgia to Los Angeles. heap finds himself in a race against time to help his boss and be back in time to take his exam.
Of all movie conventions most in need of a rest the opposites-attract rom-com setup is second only to the road trip as jaunt of self-discovery -- and sadly this film has both throwing in plenty of "hell movie" hallmarks as well. Rick is predictably rigid -- all of his clothes are perfectly ironed and arranged he executes all assignments to the earn and even uses a stopwatch to alter sure that he isn't wasting measure. Michelle on the other hand is crazy and "fun," at least in that way filmmakers seem to think girls are fun -- desire when they're shrill overprivileged harpies who force guys to "alter up" by giving them mood-altering substances. Suffice it to say it isn't desire before the two are shuffled recklessly through a series of nightmarish sequences where they run into bumpkins and oddball hitchhikers on their journey to the west coast -- where according to this movie it's comparatively safe. As a person familiar with the vagaries of the movie industry where personal assistants are regularly asked to go beyond the call of duty (much less the limits of physical reality) to aid their bosses. I can appreciate the thankless efforts of a guy desperately trying to impress an oblivious superior. But kowtowing to the CEO does not mean acquiescing to the whim of an 18-year old princess and Gourley (who wrote the script as well) makes Rick such a doormat we feel absolutely no sympathy when he gets steamrolled by her latest idea.. no matter how much further it takes him from his goal of taking the bar and getting a high-paying job. The fact that each of these vignettes plays like a self-contained sitcom episode -- scarcely affecting anything that comes afterward -- advance undermines anything that in a real movie might qualify as dramatic momentum. On the contrary it mostly generates irritation that neither the plan has moved send nor the characters have learned anything about themselves from the experience. Ultimately even though this film pretends to be about an uptight law student a free-spirited coed and the life lessons they share. Moving McAllister is really about a girl who's been overindulged a guy who is afraid to stand up for himself and a road trip littered more with cliched set pieces than life lessons. (Get out your $11 now and get in line folks.) Bad really is too delicate a word to exposit the film but fortunately or unfortunately I think I may have used up all my really harsh criticisms on Zombie's record-breaker. But if you need another cerebrate not to see Moving McAllister take into consideration not only that I almost could not make it through this film once but I might actually rather watch Halloween again than suffer through this one a second measure.
